The card game
Dobro Goranku is a trading card game developed at MoonLabs Studio for mobile devices and desktop through Steam. Players collect cards, build decks and play synchronous PvP matches or compete against AI opponents.
The game was built in Godot with GDScript and uses blockchain only for purchasing in-game currency, without NFTs. I worked as a developer on feature implementation and bug fixing rather than as the project's technical lead.
Combat and profile UI
I implemented the user profile screen and the emote system used during combat. The emotes travel through the Centrifuge real-time server so an action from one player appears live for the opponent.
The profile screen brings together the player's data and the game's economy, so it had to stay consistent with the rest of the interface while reflecting the account live. I built these features as part of a larger team, with the focus on shipping them with quality rather than leading the project.
The same Godot client supports mobile and Steam, with store and Google login plus in-app notifications where applicable. Coming from Unity and C# on Devikins, working in Godot reinforced that mastering concepts matters more than any single engine: Godot leans on scenes and nodes where Unity leans on components, and once that model clicked, GDScript proved quick for gameplay logic.

The same card game had to feel clear during both mobile and Steam matches.
